‘In the midst of South America’s fecund jungles, a delicate flower blooms. Pure and crystalline, Rosa Sacra exudes the magical scent of a radiant flower immersed in the rich biodiversity of the Argentine Yungas. Through a soft veil of green palo santo, a sun camouflaged Yaguareté observes. Drops of sacred aguaribay, the Incan tree of life, softly caress the senses, offering both ancestral protection and intuitive wisdom.’ – Frassai

Rosa Sacra wasn’t for me. It’s a bright citrussy rose. Definitely something I’d appreciate more on others, but it didn’t wow me on my skin. It’s pleasant and inoffensive, but in general it didn’t give me the same initial experience as Frassai’s A Fuego Lento or Blondine, which I sampled around the same time. All three of them have a slightly retro feeling, especially as they dry down and I look forward to exploring the house further as European distribution hopefully picks up.
