      Rosa Raimunda (2024) • STRANGERS PARFUMERIE🔺, ScentAdvice

In an attempt to get around to using more of the samples I had waiting at home, I decided (ill-adviced) to spray 8 Prin Lomros fragrances on skin all at once (I do have a lot of skin) and make shorter reviews for them.

Out of all the samples that I have (which is almost the entire Strangers collection + some Prin & Prissana), Rosa Raimunda was definitely one that jumped out at me as possibly being right up my alley when I sprayed them on paper. And on skin, it holds up. As a matter of fact, Rosa Raimunda has become my first full bottle purchase of 2025! It helps that the Strangers sizing (30ml), and therefore price point (€85), is hard to beat.

Rose Raimunda opens with a nice mix of the different types of rose or florals; are all found in here: Green, fruity, sweet. I guess I was most surprised to not see any mint listed among the long list of notes, as to my nose, there’s quite a minty edge to this fragrance. Almost bubblegummy, fresh, cutting through the sweeter tones that are also there.

From the opening, I got a ‘mature fresh/bright rose’, which is a not often found combination. I’m reminded of a rose fizzy drink, like a rose and hibiscus flavored bitter lemon. I know there’s redcurrant and other notes, but I was constantly reminded of blackcurrant as well.

As it dries down, this fragrance grows fully fruity and jammy. More playful, but still kept in check. I’m reminded for example of Ormonde Jayne Indus, but that grows way sweeter, whereas Rosa Raimunda feels sophisticated. It almost grows into a red wine, Dom Rosa-type of classy fruity floral. What I perhaps like most, is that it seems to be a great performer, but at no point do I feel like leathery tones, harsh woods or vanilla ruins the fruity floral essence; they all remain in the background (at least, for the time being, as I’m 7 hours into the wear at the time of writing).

      Absolutely lovely.
