‘Open the new year with flavours of the lingering ‘Rising Mysore’ perfume.
Long after its release, now we are out with the first ever ‘extrait de parfum’ of this unique genre in our portfolio. We hope to achieve the epitome of the ‘Rising’ series, creating a pure experience for GenNext.
Things will turn full circle with the final cut in this series, with a cologne version likely to follow by the end of the year.
The idea of Rising Mysore emerged to form an immersive, sacred, soulful and mystical connection. Now its serene experience needs to be chronicled in the parfum archives. In terms of optics too,
the illusions of life celebration we visualize are of the ‘Golden hued eau’, the‘Mysore motif’and the‘submerged echoes of familial fragrances’.
Its sensual charm is a bliss of basking early in the Sun, a sense of unity in prayers, a healing in meditation, the calm breeze; bringing hope and relaxation.
We perceived a mix of Indian scents, with Western and Persian influence from past millennia.
In effect, the perfume in use opens with a zesty,
white spicy essence, a hint of Damask rose on creamy sandalwood, combined with‘dullo’patchouli dance, owing to the Holy Basil (Tulsi), with Hathkora lime, Italian lavender, Jasmine Sambac (Mogra)
      and other citrus elements.
The Garam Masala potli from the Indian spice family uniquely, subtly blends together all parts, with a smooth transition from heart to dry down, resulting in therapeutic nuances.
The spicy notes ascend the dry perfume.
A monkoh session ensues, when the Eastern lactic sandalwood, and Southern spicy Mysore, in equal measure, laced with robust dark Indian patchouli and humble Javanese lend to a beautiful dry down like Japanese temple incense persisting on skin.
The story of the playful ‘Extrait de parfum – Rising Mysore 2023’
so far has been one of calmness of the sandalwood and herb spices… a narrative of Wonder.’ – Dixit & Zak
