Moresque is one of the most underrated houses to me and Regina might be one of their most underrated fragrances.
Regina is as beautiful as its gold-adorned outside. I’m notoriously bad with aquatic notes, but the sea-breeze vibe from Regina is done perfectly. It might be my favorite rendition of that style of scent; picture an ever so slightly salty breeze, some watery texture, some sun-tan lotion.
What Regina adds is a good dose of fresh, bright and easy to wear jasmine, a hint of green when smelled up close and a sweeter drydown. A prominent vanilla takes over the latter part of the wear and adds more warmth. If I had one complaint, it would be that it grows too vanilla, too quickly, making it a tad more generic. But it’s a beautiful fragrance from start to finish.
