Rayon Vert is a 2022 release and the greenest of all the Bastille releases so far, which shouldn’t be a surprise given the notes.

I was almost certain I wouldn’t like it, but I like it better than I imagined (although ultimately it’s still too green for my taste). It’s a fresher, citrussy style of green. Fresh cut grass, but combined with a lot of neroli. I could also see lemon or ginger in here. It somehow feels liquid.

It’s very refreshing and it stays rather high in acidity, which helps (I have more of an issue with darker grassy and mossy or forest scents). This is almost drinkable green; like a healthy smoothie or lemonade… or salad dressing. Either way, if this leans more towards your personal taste, I think it could be very interesting.
