Rasvika 2023 or Rasvika II is the updated version of Rasvika (2019), which I have not smelled. A very floral and traditional composition.

Out of everything from this brand on paper, Rasvika was one that caught my attention most among the ‘fresher’ scents. Clean florals, iris and moss seems like a combination you can’t really go wrong with. And luckily, Rasvika doesn’t go wrong.

As mentioned, very traditional. Powdery, clean facets, sharp, bright. This fragrances gives me images of white and pastel green, lilac, pink. Traditionally feminine leaning, but with a slightly spicier green core underneath.

A style we don’t see all that often anymore; I think the last newer release I’ve smelled that gave me a similar feeling was Grossmith Diamond Jubilee Bouquet. Whereas that one goes more acidic, Rasvika goes more orris and violet. Slowly losing its sharpness, for a still very cool, but smoother floral paste.

One of the best fragrances in this ‘fresh linen’ floral style that I’ve come across. Picture a top notch laundry detergent, but softened with quality iris.
