This is a first impression after trying the Odyssey: Escape collection discovery set:

Purpose feels a tad ‘heavier’ than the others from its collection. With its vetiver and mineralic tinge, this feels like a spicier and more masculine leaning counterpart to Lineage in a sense, a little less playful and light on its feet.

Purpose boasts a lot of spiciness (surprised cumin or immortelle isn’t in the notes, because I get a slight sweatiness in the opening) and sharper woods. It’s been compared to both Bisch’s Ganymede and Bois Imperial, and while definitely different, it does feel like an incense-tinged take smack dab in the middle of those two on first impression (all 3 use akigalawood).
