As an avid viewer of Peter’s YouTube channel (FragranceView) at the start of my journey, I’ve been intrigued in his endeavour to start up a brand. I really appreciate the way he went about. Proximo isn’t really a reflection of the type of fragrances his brand has mostly put out I believe, but it’s a fun one to test.
It’s a great and innovative scent, although based on the notes and reviews, I can see how it differs a lot from most of his other work. It’s one of the most ozonic and ‘fluffiest’ scents I’ve come across, yet the performance seems okay.
It’s a white musky scent with a berry fruitiness, including strawberry I think, which is hard to pull off, but Peter managed to do it here. Especially for men, this seems like a tricky combination, but this is as unisex as it gets. It’s intriguing, modern and crowd pleasing, but not overly generic or redundant at all, which is a big achievement regardless of how you like the scent.
