No. 25 was my least favorite of the five Pierre de Velay that I had in my discovery set. It’s quite green, so that’s not really a surprise given my taste.

It has an interesting citrus opening that smells somewhere between clean and cleaning product. There’s ginger, which I like, but I have a feeling the elemi is creating a strong turpentine tinge. Scents like pine, cypriol and fir stand out here for me. They are done well; smooth and resinous, especially after some hours. It’s a nice, crisp forest scent, which I can’t fault, but I didn’t love it.
