In a complete 180 from Patchouli Heart No. I, this No. II is a clean and very woody and dry rendition.

It’s instantly likeable. I get a mix of wood shavings, a hint of forest, but also a hint of sweetness. It reminds me of old furniture, but it’s squeaky clean at the same time. This fragrance is very transporting to me; it took me right back to vacation homes or cottages in the French countryside that I’d used to visit in the Summer as a kid. To my surprise this was one of my favorites and I liked it even more than the sweet (which I usually my style) Patchouli Heart No. I.
