Whereas Montana’s Parfum D’Elle EDP was a really interesting and nice surprise; Parfum De Peau Parfum was less of a journey, but still a nice scent.
Reviewed from a vintage mini; I’m not sure from what year. I’m also unsure if Parfum de Peau has been reformulated by Edouard Flechier as was the case with the EDT version, or if this is guaranteed to be the 1986 formulation by Jean Guichard.
This one opens floral and peppery to my nose. It’s a nice kind of spice; not as animalic as I’ve seen advertised to me though. In fact, the white florals in Parfum D’Elle were more daring than Parfum de Peau is to me.
I mostly get a peppery vibe, at times bordering on smoky, with a hint of florals (rose). This could be a pretty middle of the road men’s shampoo from my experience.
