Palais Du Rais at first seemed to be a take on the Tom Ford Tuscan Leather DNA with leather, saffron and raspberry. Despite oud also being listed, it’s a much brighter rendition of this style that deviates more than I initially expected. It’s like an airy raspberry or perhaps it reminds me more of plum or grape. It’s very fruity, but not thick or syrupy and the leather and sweetness are relatively subtle. Palais Du Rais is the one that has grown on me the most and has become my favorite of the brand’s original three releases for sure, but it’s not a great release in my opinion.
