Oud Tabac was a love at first sniff, although not the easiest to wear. It’s a heavy rendition of tobacco, but still very recognizable as a ‘niche perfume tobacco’ and not going into a more artistic indie rendition. You get a hint of the ‘Tobacco Vanille‘ style, especially in the spices, but it’s not as sweet. It almost smells like roasted (burnt) coconut sweetness to my nose. The opening is contrast heavy with ginger creating a brighter and cleaner punch. If you’re looking for a substantial tobacco, this one should be on your list.
