Oud Al Amir ($20/3ml) opens the most animalic of the 3 Anthony Marmin I’ve tried. When smelling the vial I thought I wouldn’t be able to wear it. On skin however, within the hour, most of the slight fecal elements of the opening fade away and are pretty much overpowered by sweetness. It’s a dark woody scent, with dried fruits and a caramel-like sweetness. It still has a bit of a burning, smoky edge, but not too challenging at all.
