I picked Nairobi blindly as full-bottle to test, based on the notes I was intrigued. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t work out for me.

The brand’s ingredients don’t stand out for me (which is not the worst given their price points), and with a scent profile like this, I think you notice that the most.

It smells very familiar, in a dry woody-oudy-leathery way, but very sweet. This fragrance is really dry, compared to some of the others from this house, with a spicy, nutty-like woodiness.

So far, I don’t get the florals, nor the chocolate or coffee, more so a cardamom oud with some leathery facets that’s not to my taste. For the oud, Middle-Eastern styled ones, I prefer Marrakesh.
