I won Mutheer in a contest and it was a really nice, albeit rather common rose attar.

The rose here is on the soft and soapy side with a hint of citrus up top. The oud and woodiness in the base are subtle and this leans on the brighter and in my opinion more feminine leaning side.

Funny enough, I later swapped it for an old Amouage Eidyya attar, that ended up smelling very similar to Mutheer, but with a bit more of a spicy oomph to it.

The Fragrance du Bois attars have since been discontinued, but if you’re looking for a cheap alternative that does a pretty decent job, check out Scent Salim’s Dubai Oud.
