‘Musc K was born in the Maranhão landscape, where the pristine white sands of the wind-sculpted dunes contrast with the many crystal-clear shades of blue, from aquamarine and turquoise to the emerald green of the lagoons.
Musc K opens the score with a salty breeze of sand lily that is bright and fresh. Following the rhythm of the winds, its arabesques of white pepper on sand harmonise with a heart of salty iris and mangrove driftwood. A crescendo of sand-grown vetiver and Ambrofix™ anchors the fragrance, subtly nuanced at the end of its journey by a floating cloud of white musk, like the immaculate sand of the wind-blown dunes.’
As you may have expected from the name and presentation, Musc K is a bright fragrance that I wore on a hot day, in which it really shined.
Featherlight and mostly velvety soft at first. Floral petals, a rose-water like sensation with the softest spiciness of pink pepper.
This is all pastelles and aquarelles, mostly pink in my mind. A soft peachiness and fresh laundry on a sunny morning. It’s quite vibrant, but texture wise it’s very ozonic.
A hint of citrus cuts through it, but it’s mostly a fresh linen floral to my nose. Leaning traditionally feminine very far. I personally enjoyed wearing this in high heat. It would suit me mostly as something to refresh, after a shower, a Sunding morning or going to bed on a warm day; not really the type of scent that I usually wear while going out or when I’m at the office.
A bit hard to describe, as its notes feel like one big, well-mixed accord. Beautifully done, although not the most exciting style for me personally.
