Muguet was first released c1904. There was a reformulation in 1998 (which was rereleased in 1999). A new version was launched in 2006 and since then it’s been customary to release a new version annually.
This 2023 version is said to be based on the 2016 release.

The tender, springtime scent of lily-of-the-valley was interpreted in turn by the House’s successive Perfumers: Jacques Guerlain in 1908, Jean-Paul Guerlain in 1998, then Thierry Wasser who composed the current version of Muguet in 2016.’
