Part of the Vacay In A Bottle collection, initially released as miniatures in a set. Made available as 50ml full size individual releases in May 2025.

This is a first impression; having worn all 4 from the Vacay In A Bottle set for over 5 hours. My general thoughts are that it is a pretty interesting set. Not overly feminine or Summery I would say. I personally wouldn’t wear any of them in high heat, because as most Kayali, they’re sweet. Definitely different from what I was expecting though. They’re explicitly meant for layering, which I have zero interest in; you’ll have to try that yourself. Overall, on par with my experiences with Kayali (perhaps not as good as Vanilla 28 or Velvet Santal, at least on par with Lovefest Burning Cherry, Silk Santal, Deja Vu White Flowers or Musk and a lot better than Yum Pistachio Gelato, which was my least favorite so far).

Maui In A Bottle was the one I was most intrigued by beforehand. This smells way more like coconut than the Maldives In A Bottle Ylang Coco from the get-go. Essentially a familiar sun-tan lotion, creamy coconut scent, but I can definitely also see a banana ice cream or milkshake as well. Highly unnatural and as the name suggests, sweet, banana, but pleasant. It grows into a minimal, too sugary sweet drydown for my liking, but the easiest to recommend and probably the star of the Vacay In A Bottle set. Not as unique as its name may suggest, but at the same time delivering what it says. Not too shabby.
