Majnoon is a creation by Prin and that instantly hit me. My favorite work of his could be Strangers Burning Ben and Majnoon is very much in that same direction, albeit perhaps a tad more daring and right up to the edge of where I’m comfortable.

Bitter coffee and a general smokiness, backed by a sweet syrupy core. I also get chocolate from this (not listed, but perhaps from a sweet oud). Yet, there’s also a hint of fruitiness and florals that are noticeable. As it dries it becomes more dry and earthy.

To my nose this smells like a mix of Burning Ben and something that I would expect from Areej Le Dore (it has been compared to Oud Luwak & Oud Zhen, but I haven’t tried either). Majnoon is an absolutely beautiful and long-lasting fragrance that will be perfect for the coldest Winter days.
