The encompassing feeling of contentment starts from the moment Lucky Santal is first sprayed, as a delightful sparkle of tart key lime lifts a smooth floral top, with a mouthwatering ribbon of honey adding a peaceful sweetness to the spice-kissed Damascus rose and white floral bouquet in the romantic heart. But sandalwood has top billing here for a reason- a golden weave of exceptionally warm and creamy sandalwoods from Caledonia and Mysore and rich Bengali oud, along with the captivatingly unique Indian ingredients that you can only get in a Dixit & Zak fragrance- the milky rice-like aroma of pandanus leaf, the intoxicating zing of saffron-laced tobacco, and, of particular note, the traditional ayurvedic material known as mitti attar, or baked clay sandalwood, with its deeply earthy yet fresh aroma reminiscent of the petrichor scent of freshly fallen rain.
