Unfortunately, I’ve never paid much attention to L’Humaniste, aside from some brief smelling in store, so I can’t make a comparison. L’Humaniste Extreme is a 2024 take on the DNA.

L’Humaniste Extreme is ultra-fresh to me; bright, sharp, green, aromatic. Juniper still plays a big role from the start of this fragrance, mixed with some citrus and moss to me. Juniper is not listed as a note for this Extreme version however.

Slightly minty even and sparkling like an aftershave, reminiscent of an Eau Sauvage-type scent. I’d say in this case, mostly more aromatic.

Very bright with the citrus, like a more aromatic Acqua di Parma Ginepro di Sardegna for example. I get hints of anise as it warms up towards the drydown, for as far as you can call it warm; it definitely does get a bit spicier.

L’Humaniste Extreme leans traditionally masculine pretty far in my opinion. Hints of a traditional aftershave permeate throughout, making this a classy Spring/Summer scent that would also work well in an office setting for me.
