Straight away this reminded me of another fragrance; Thameen Royal Sapphire. Which means this is a sweet, floral chypre. I ended up finding Royal Sapphire sweeter than I would’ve loved, given that I bought it mainly as an office scent, but I think with Le Parfum In White, that sweetness matches the expectations more
It’s very fruity and bordering on cloyingly sweet, but it’s contrasted just enough by a clean white musk and that greener, chypre vibe. The more I smell it, the more I get a soapy orange blossom and general floral direction from it, but when smelling the skin up close, I also get more of the (vanillic) amber versus the candy and fruity sweetness.
This is a loud and big scent, that pulls the wearer in many directions; sweet, chypre, clean, fruity, floral; vaguely in that order of magnitude on my skin. Texture wise it gets quite sharp; pulling in some comparisons to the cologne-vibe from Royal Sapphire.
I’d say perfectly unisex, although I have a feeling many men will disagree, given the type of sweetness it has. It’s kind of a weird mix of unabashedly playful, with a sprinkle of classy on top.
I will probably find it cloying on warm days myself, but in colder weather, this wears nicely and it performs very well with light sprays.
