‘Les Récoltes Majeures, A Special Dior Event. Lily-of-the-valley, rose, jasmine. Francis Kurkdjian wanted to capture the magical moments when Christian Dior would pause to admire one of his beloved flowers at La Colle Noire, by combining cutting-edge technology with the time-honored Grasse extraction methods. Each year, these exceptional fragrances inspire master artisans to reimagine the legendary 1956 Diorissimo bouquet bottle designed by Christian Dior himself in 1956 for his fragrance Diorissimo. A trio of rare scents; each released in limited quantities and envisioned as an annual celebration of nature and artistry (…) Inspired by cherished memories of roses at his family home in Granville, Christian Dior created vast gardens of Centifolia roses at his beloved Château de La Colle Noire. Among all flowers, the rose reigns supreme. In his homage to the Grasse Centifolia rose, Francis Kurkdjian imagined how exhilarated the couturier-perfumer must have felt when the roses bloomed in early May.’ – Dior
