The opening is heavy with nondescript florals and quite a strong dose of citrus. Later, it’s almost overpowered by a powdery almond and/or heliotrope. Patchouli adds an earthier, darker touch. The fragrance also warms up a lot, making this perfect for colder weather.
Later in the drydown it becomes a softer, creamy and more balsamic vanilla sweetness, with some spices (cinnamon and cardamom) and woods. The floral aspect fades away quite quickly, any acidity from the citrus and the earthiness goes away and it becomes a comfort scent. To my nose, it has a very light smokiness as it dries.
