Kashan Rose is one of those really bright, soapy, watery rose fragrances, but it’s one of my favorites in the style.
Looking at the notes, I don’t know where the zesty citrus that I’m smelling originates from, but I could swear I smell some lime in Kashan Rose. Mixed with a bright sparkling rose water (presumably a kick from the pink pepper in that water). It’s not sharp sparkling, more so a light tingle. The lychee is not making this overly fruity and sweet here; the whole fragrance remains on the subtle side.
One of the more feminine leaning fragrances on the market, but not overly youthful to me (despite what many reviews say). To me it’s almost formal, clean. It goes in a slightly green direction, more so than a bright pink or red rose and the sweetness is kept rather subtle.
While not groundbreaking in any way, this is one of the better rose-water scents I’ve tried.
