I’ve tried both the attar oil and the extrait de parfum sprayer for Kalimat Oud and in my testing I found their scent to slightly different, but more so similar.

I’ve tried 8 Scent Salim oils and Kalimat was the darkest in style, but it’s still really easy to wear. The Scent Salim that I’ve tried so far are less dark and dense than most attars I’ve tried, which I why I think they’re a good place to start (and mostly more affordable). Kalimat is combination of dried fruits, tobacco and leather. With this one I feel like I get a stronger leather scent in the sprayer than in the attar. Texture wise it feels like a really wet tobacco, soft fruitiness, smooth leather. There’s no harshness, mild smokiness, no acidity; just cozy and rich.
