‘We are in the 40s: the era of jazz and of hair coated with brilliantine; the epoch when words of love were whispered. In this setting, an elegant man, dressed in white, walks alone barefoot along the shore, in the moonlight. He has a flute of champagne in his hand and softly hums a song. Happiness has the face of the beautiful woman he just conquered; an emotion that makes him dance and play with the waves that wet his feet and the hem of his trousers. This bouquet tells of a fun and pleasing moment, which revolves around an accord of Champagne. It has the taste of conquest, and it encapsulates the cool and self-assured attitude of those who consider themselves a true seducer: an eccentric lover of life, elegance, and beauty. A self-ironic snob, cheerful, witty, and light bubbles.’ – Jacques Zolty
Fun and youthful leaning fruity fragrance. I really like the texture here, almost fizzy and at the same time watery.
This takes me back to the late 90’s/early 00’s. I’m picturing neon colored hair gels. The sparkling ‘champagne’ gives this a bit like a fruity hairspray vibe, but very pleasant. Either that or a shampoo; there’s an almost aquatic element to this fragrance for me.
Champagne is the theme here and on one hand I can pictured that as well, but it leans a bit different than what I’d imagine. Comparing this to fruity feminine leaning fragrances that I enjoy; it’s a lot more playful than Carner Marbella, even than Dior Rouge Trafalgar. This is more in line with the similarly themed Atelier des Ors Pink Me Up, but J’Suis Snob feels more floral.
