Jasminisha is in the broad family of vanillic, feminine leaning, white florals. A style mostly dominated by Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy & Rolling In Love, some Memo’s and then Parfums de Marly joined the club with Oriana; one of the best bang for buck is Nobile 1942 Perdizione. Jasminisha differs enough to warrant a closer look (apparently it’s closer to Memo Granada, which I haven’t tried).
You only get a hint of the namesake jasmine with quite a bit of orange blossom, creating a soft, petal-like floral experience. It’s almost fruity more so than floral; definitely not indolic or daring one bit. What I really like about Jasminisha is that there’s a lot of ginger and the fruitiness does not come across as a citrus dish soap as it does in some alternatives in this style.
The sweetness is the expected vanilla and candy-ish vibe with a musky base. Jasminisha is definitely not reinventing anything here, but it’s easily one of my favorites in the way it’s executed. Both the sweetness and the citrus are kept in check really well, to offer a slightly fresher wearing floral, especially in the opening.
For me personally, Jasminisha is a fragrance I’ll probably mostly wear to bed or during a morning working from home, but it’s very comforting and enjoyable for those settings. I’m loving the bottle as well and the price point for this line from Moresque is pretty decent.
