Jasmine is one of my favorite notes in perfumery and I tend to like all types of jasmine fragrances. In the case of Jasmin de Pays, we’re looking at one of the more skanky renditions.

It’s a bright, fresh and invigorating jasmine at its core, but it has a strong daring tinge. To some people it will come across as pissy, to some even fecal, but in my opinion it’s kept in check just enough to be sexy and mature. It’s a thing that Perris does often and does well (Tubereuse Absolue, Ylang Ylang Nosy Be, Vanille de Tahiti, Absolue D’Osmanthe all have a daring edge).
