One of my favorite Le Labo’s, albeit a rather familiar smelling scent profile. It’s not the type of scent that you have to get a ‘Le Labo’ for.
Jasmin 17 is (yet another) sweet, lactonic white floral. Jasmin is proudly presented in the name of the fragrance, but orange blossom is more prominent. Add to that a lot of milky vanilla and some brighter opening touches and you have yourself a scent you’ve smelled before almost certainly.
After a while the slightly sharper and greener touches come through a little bit. If you’re looking for a more affordable, softer green alternative, I highly recommend Bastille Pleine Lune.
That being said, I think this is probably my favorite rendition of this style (alongside Nishane Hundred Silent Ways). It’s not cloying, it’s very lactonic and smooth. It’s easy to wear, but not too youthful for my taste.
