Cashmeran is a note that I have a love-hate relationship with. At its best, it’s great and cozy. At its worst it smells like mud and wet paper. I have had several fragrance experiences ruined for me by a muddy batcave depth from a cashmeran dose. Safe to say that Cashmeran Velvet wasn’t the fragrance from the line that I looked forward to the most, and it wasn’t my favorite in the end.

Cashmeran Velvet is saved partially from that wet paper feeling, by some sweetness and I mostly seem to get a patchouli-like quality here (more than in the two patchouli fragrances perhaps). It has a greener tinge. I have to say that I need to wear this one again to make a better judgement of it, but it will not be among my favorite Ostens.
