As of May 2025, I learned that Xerjoff has halted this project and will not be releasing this fragrance any further (at least not at the time and under this name). Im-Perfetto was made in collaboration with chef Matteo Baronetto.

It’s unfortunate that this project isn’t getting a proper release, as I think it was my favorite of the 2025 Xerjoff releases on first impression (amongst Louis XV, Black Moonlight, NeoRio, Torino24, and re-releases of Purple Accento & Coro).

Ideally, I’d smell it again to gather my thoughts, especially as I was waiting to share my thoughts on this for when it eventually released (I smelled it in 2024). What I definitely got from wearing it was at first a milky, smooth, faux-sandalwood with some hints of suede perhaps. But also a tad green with a (hazel)nut quality.

At a point I was reminded of a less fresh Eight & Bob The Original. Which I think is an underrated fragrance, despite being quite popular; a true gem. So Im-Perfetto definitely works for me. It has more of the milky nutty vibe and less of the aquatic and clean white linen or laundry detergent vibe from the Eight & Bob, but it gave me a similar feeling and textures nonetheless.

I wonder if/assume we’ll see this creation under a different name one day in the future.
