I Am Darkness is one of the most confusingly named releases (especially next to Majnoon); as both the juice and the scent-profile are significantly brighter. This one grew on me so far; originally feeling like quite a retro masculine cologne; I get more and more of the fruits and sweetness on second go.

The citrus is very sharp, green and acidic, but the overall fruitiness helps to make it more… modern? I get more orange shades as it dries and it becomes warmer. The florals are also coming through in a subtle way, especially a slight tropical tinge.

Not instantly my style of perfume, but really well done. There is oud listed (Cambodian), but I don’t think anyone is eyeing I Am Darkness for the oud specifically; it’s a beautiful fruity aromatic/chypre scent that I think would especially speak in particular to (mature) men.
