The notes for this one had me a bit worried, as I’m not big on aquatics and watermelon in the mix could be recipe for disaster. However, I quite enjoyed Hydra. It opens like a somewhat natural smelling, seaside forest to me. Not fully aquatic, but some cedarwood and florals. It becomes almost grassy green with an aquatic touch. No citrus notes are listed, but I could picture some lemon as well. The overall vibe is really fresh, with sort of iced florals at its core. Pretty solid.
