Dior Homme Intense was first released in 2007. It was re-released in 2011.

When I first tried this I expected this to be warmer and more traditionally masculine leaning (mind you, this was the first fragrance I ever tried from the Dior Homme line back when I just started getting into fragrances).

Dior Homme Intense is a punchy mix of powdery iris, a chocolate type sweetness and a freshness coming from the pear note. It’s a very modern scent and nowadays I do get more of the clean, crisp touches with vetiver underneath.

I need to re-review this more extensively and with my current experience one day. It’s a great release, but one that will likely always be overshadowed by it’s big brother, Dior Homme Parfum for me.
