Heroine is very pleasant, but for me definitely not one of the most interesting releases by the brand (out of those that I’ve tried so far).
A rather fruity opening, like watery fruits, mixed with florals and an overall musky air. The notes list violet, rose and jasmine, but to my nose, it leans quite green given that note breakdown.
I was reminded of a more fruity lily-of-the-valley. Perhaps it’s not a coincidence, as Heroine gets compared mostly to Tiziana Terenzi Cassiopea, which does list lily-of-the-valley (I’m not familiar with that fragrance however).
It’s a softer composition that I found a bit hard to detect, let alone describe after a few hours. Mostly a sweetened floral with only a hint of that fruitiness remains. Nothing unpleasant whatsoever, but also nothing remarkable for my taste to be found here.
