‘An intriguing olfactory journey back in time. Seduced by an 18th century Majorcan liqueur recipe. Blending top Mediterranean botanicals with secret floral accents. Alchemic. Spiritual. Mysterious. A deeply green fragrance with forty-five ingredients. For now and forever.’ – D:Sol MMXXVI
Herbes was the one from the brand that I didn’t expect to like and it’s definitely not a style that I could wear myself.
It’s green, herbacious and woody. The opening minutes were not for me, but I really started to appreciate it after. I can’t believe there’s no cumin or immortelle listed in the notes, because that’s what I perceived in my (limited) testing. The balance of the citrus and wood (sandal and cedar) is nice, the mint is a refreshing touch and if you don’t mind a bit of green, this will be outstanding on a warm Summer day.
