Habit Rouge is one of the hallmarks of this great brand. I wish I could smell an older version of it (the sample reviewed is an EDP, probably from a 2018 or 2019 bottle).

I want to love this, but I must say I don’t find this version overly special. It’s nice, soapy citrus. Well-balanced with rose and an amber accord. It’s very zesty ad I mainly love the texture; fizzy and powdery combined?

I guess my expectations were different; I’d expected more ‘oomph’, more leather, less sharp lemon. Perhaps older formulations offer that, but I can only speak on the one I wore on skin and it was just okay for me.
