This has to go on record as one of the worst named flankers of all time. I really like the scent mind you, but calling this a jasmine flanker seems to be a complete mismatch; this is a gourmand flanker.
A sweet, cake or brownie sweetness. A lot of vanilla and caramel, some nuts, maybe some chocolate. After that, the hint of fruitiness (as in a fruit cake) is prominent.
Now, is there a (typical designer “jasmine”) floral element in here. Sure and if you are fully against it, maybe it would ruin the experience for you, although I would argue it’s worth trying.
Some other reviews have mentioned it dries down to the original Good Girl, which I’m not all that familiar with. I can’t imagine from memory that there’s a significantly more prominent jasmine in Jasmine Absolute; instead, it has a less-floral, more gourmand opening.
Pleasant. I’m actually surprised how much I like the sweet side of this. It’s a proper gourmand facet, not a bubblegummy, sugary one. It gives me a similar feeling (not per se scent) as Mugler Angel Stellar, which was one of the better gourmand designer releases of 2025. I like the scent a lot less when the scent reveals the namesake florals.
I say; Carolina Herrera should go for a Good Gourmand Girl next and go full dessert mode.
