‘Fleur de Lalita, a beautiful floral perfume blends a profusion of the best flowers the French home of perfume, Grasse, has to offer. The accord is suffused with shades of seductive, exotic fragrance notes.’ – Pissara Umavijani
This is a really pretty and pleasant Dusita. Floral and smooth, in the style of Anamcara, Rosarine for example, but much less sweet.
I find this almost milky. The texture is lovely, bringing up images of petals with a hint of sun tan lotion.
You get the creamy, tropical flair of ylang-ylang and a hint of vanilla, but as mentioned, this is not as sweet as Anamcara, Rosarine or Moonlight in Chiangmai.
The opening is even milder in its sweetness than most sun-tan lotion-esque scents and that’s a good thing in my opinion. It doesn’t take too much away from the beautiful floral core. As it dries, it does get very vanillic, but never cloying.
If there’s any flower scent that I particularly get here, it’s probably magnolia. Soft, chewy, musky, but at the same time fresh and crisp on the edge. Even a hint of freshly washed laundry comes to mind. This freshness gets overtaken by vanilla after the first hour(s).
I adore Fleur de Lalita. As much as I love Rosarine, it can be a but much on some days; Fleur de Lalita makes for a more versatile wear.
