Fire At Will was one that several people asked me about, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately my expectations weren’t met.

This is super lactonic, buttery vanilla. It wears light and pretty in the air, but when I smell it up close I get mostly a condensed, sweetened milk and a very artificial sweetness at that. Fire At Will reminded me of frosting, like the colored frosting used on kids birthday party cupcakes.

As it dries more smokiness comes through and it becomes better, but still uninspired to me. I was a bit surprised to find this one in the Jovoy line-up.
