‘The greenery of unfermented tea leaves overlaps with the aroma of freshly picked figs. Sarah was experimenting with the green tea materials she had available, both natural and synthetic. She added them to her creamy woods accord and found that orris and peaches evoked the smell of figs dipped in white chocolate. As she’d imagine it would smell anyway – she hadn’t done it.
