Fabolous Blend From India a.k.a. FBI ($50/3ml) is definitely my favorite from the 3 Anthony Marmin I’ve tried (and also the most expensive).

I feel like the oud is less fecal here than in Mukhallat de Medellin and definitely than in Oud Al Amir, but whereas it goes into the background quite quickly in the others, with FBI it’s stronger and more prominent throughout.

It’s a unique scent, with an amber accord and chocolate; to my nose it’s like a molasses type of sweetness, combined with a hint of leather. It’s hard to describe this and I’m not sure if I get the ambergris or not; it’s more like a boozy fragrance on first impression to me. I think the attar consistency makes it hard to distinguish individual elements, but it’s great to experience
