A very interesting, almost acquatic take on a white floral by diptyque.

You get the dewy quality straigt away and a soft petally texture. It’s not as sweet or as tropical initially as the notes might suggest in my opinion; instead it’s rather subtle and subdued, making for a very refreshing wear. However it sweetens up quickly.

It goes in a green, dewy, rain water direction akin to Etat Libre D’Orange Hermann A Mes Cotes… a bit, but more sea-side with a salty edge, before going into more of a vanillic drydown. Unique for sure; green, sweet, salty, aquatic, floral, tropical, all at once in a still non-complex and light smelling composition.

I really appreciate this, but it should not cost as much as it does.
