EO2: Tibet is an updated version of Ensar’s EO2, with the addition of the Tibetan Musk. It likely stands on the back of EO2, but I haven’t smelled that yet to make any comparisons to it.
The opening is more daring, with a healthy dose of cumin giving off a sweaty skin vibe. However, it’s not sharp; within minutes EO2: Tibet turns as creamy and smooth as many of the Ensar’s seem to do and it makes for one of the nicer rendition of a cumin opening to my nose. In general it’s rather spicy and probably closest to Notes From Underground in that regards, from the Ensar’s that I’ve smelled.
I get a hint of cola (civet?) and on my second wearing more and more of the florals for some brightness and contrast. It is however, a tad dry, spicy and animalic and that sets it apart from the Tibetan Musk and Tonkin Musk. As it dries it becomes slightly fruity (closer to Tibetan than the more fruity and bright Tonkin), but I pick up on more florals in EO2: Tibet.
It exudes a warmth throughout, slightly animalic, but not necessarily challenging, mostly the sweaty cumin. That cumin does keep EO2: Tibet from being as comforting as some of the other Ensar offerings for me, while the drydown is equally beautiful.
