Eau Mer is a beautiful citrus aromatic scent. The opening has a good dose of lime, which is arguably my favorite citrus. It has a dewy consistency.
There’s lavender, but more interestingly, I get the anise very strongly in Eay Mer. The anise adds a minty, metallic, liquorice-like tinge in the same way it does in Aura Of Kazachstan Pulse Of Astana (it’s more liquorice heavy in Eau Mer).
The aromatic vibe is quite green and watery. It’s fresh, but not ozonic or light. The vetiver in the base binds it all together. The description of Pekji speaks of ‘chlorine and gasoline’, which I don’t get per se, but maybe the liquorice that I get is a nod in that direction. I do get oceanic touches from the ambergris, but it’s not daring.
