‘Created in 1955 by Edmond Roudnitska, Eau Fraîche, a pioneer of fresh fragrances, was Christian Dior’s own perfume. Its trail offers a sensation as invigorating as diving into cool water on a hot summer’s day. A crystalline freshness with lemon notes enhanced by a basil and tarragon accord, elevated by the depth of vetiver (…) A true aesthetic revolution in the history of perfumery, Eau Fraîche captures the vivacity of a chypre cologne with a refined signature. Francis Kurkdjian revived its original beauty by elevating its citrus facets and honoring its signature aromatic basil-tarragon note.
