‘Dolce Arctica x Gents by Profumum Roma is a fresh, berry-flavored gourmand fragrance created exclusively for men. It is the result of a long-standing collaboration with the Italian perfume house. This time, the inspiration turned north, to the Swedish forest, where blueberry bushes grow among the trees and wild strawberries and raspberries line the forest paths. Profumum Roma interprets Nordic nature in a unique way – captured in Italian perfumery. The opening is bright, fresh, and almost sparkling. Lemon and mandarin provide a clear citrus freshness, but the blueberry takes center stage, transporting the composition to a Swedish forest. Its fresh, slightly tart berry note lends the fragrance a cool character and forms a natural contrast to the sweetness that slowly unfolds. At its heart, you’ll find wild strawberries – significantly more intense and aromatic than the common strawberry, with a deep, almost nectar-like fruitiness. Green nuances evoke leaves and forest, while a light floral note lends the berry a softer side. Simultaneously, the tonka bean imparts a warm, subtle creaminess to the fragrance, rounding out the fresh berry notes without making it heavy or overly sweet. As soon as the fragrance unfolds on the skin, the wild raspberry emerges with a drier and more tart character than cultivated raspberries. A touch of green and untamedness—associations with raspberry leaves, twigs, and wild bushes—resonates, preserving the forest feel, even as vanilla and sandalwood soften the composition. Sweetness is present, but lies as a soft, creamy layer beneath the fresh berries.
