A new version of Diorling (1963). Part of the 13 Dioriginals by Francis Kurkdjian: Diorama, Diorella, Dioressence, Diorling, Dolce Vita, Dune, Dune Homme, Eau Fraiche, Forever And Ever, Higher, Higher Energy & Jules.
‘Created in 1963 by Paul Vacher, Diorling is a chypre fragrance with British accents, whose name is a playful nod to the English word “darling.” Dior’s floral signature meets the olfactory portrait of a woody garden and the warmth of leather (…) To revive the original signature of this leathery floral chypre, Francis Kurkdjian has restored the quality of the jasmine, the oakmoss base notes and the aldehydic character (…) The Dioriginals collection brings together the House of Dior’s emblematic signatures, restored by Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creative Director. He set out to recover the fragrances’ original formulas, presented in the 1948 bottle that once housed Christian Dior’s first iconic creations.’ – Dior
